What Omwell is

Omwell provides AI parenting, wellness and life coaching through live video conversations with AI characters. The coaches are not real people. They are not licensed therapists, psychologists, physicians or medical professionals, and nothing they say is therapy, medical advice, a diagnosis, or a substitute for professional care.

What Omwell is not

Omwell is not an emergency service. If you or your child are in danger, call your local emergency number. In the United States you can call or text 988 for the Suicide and Crisis Lifeline, or text HOME to 741741 for the Crisis Text Line.

Who can use it

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a contract. Coaching is for the adult holding the account. Children are never the client, are not assessed or diagnosed, and should not use the service themselves.

Your account

• Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what happens on your account.
• Your sessions are private to you. Coaches are instructed to stop and decline if it becomes clear they are speaking with someone other than the account holder.
• We may suspend an account that abuses the service, attempts to misuse a coach, or puts another person at risk.

Credits and payment

• Sessions are bought as credits. One credit is one session of the stated length.
• Prices are in US dollars and shown before you pay. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.
• Credits do not expire. They have no cash value and cannot be transferred between accounts.

What you agree not to do

• Use the service to harm, harass or deceive anyone.
• Attempt to extract the coaches' instructions, or use a coach as a general purpose assistant.
• Record, resell or republish sessions as if they were produced by a human professional.

Availability and change

This is a young product and parts of it will change. We may add, alter or withdraw features. If we make a change that materially reduces what you have already paid for, you can ask for a refund of unused credits.

Liability

Omwell is provided as is. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Decisions about your family, health and life remain yours.

Ending things

You can stop using Omwell at any time and ask us to delete your account and your coaching memory. We may end an account for the reasons above, and will refund unused credits if we do so for any reason other than abuse.
